Job description

Are you a passionate Science teacher seeking a new role starting in January 2025? Whether you’re an Early Career Teacher (ECT) or a Fully Qualified Teacher, we invite you to apply and join our dynamic team at a fantastic secondary school in Stoke.

In this full-time position, you'll teach Science to KS3 and KS4 students with a variety of abilities, specializing in at least one area of Science. Your responsibilities will include planning, delivering, and marking engaging lessons tailored to meet diverse learning needs. You'll also have the opportunity to participate in extracurricular activities and utilize excellent facilities equipped with up-to-date resources.

To be considered for this role, you should have QTS or an equivalent qualification, along with broad subject knowledge in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics. Strong classroom management skills are essential, as is a child-only DBS on the update service (or a willingness to apply, with our assistance during registration). We also require two professional references from recent employment.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
