Job description

Are you passionate about educating young people and inspiring the next generation of budding scientists?

A well-established mainstream secondary school in Solihull are seeking to employ a science teacher on a full time basis to work in collaboration with colleagues within the science department to drive standards and results.

 

Job Start: ASAP

Hours: Full Time (can be flexible for the perfect candidate)

Rate of Pay: To Scale (for full time role)

Location: Solihull, B91

 

Who We're Looking For:

- Fully qualified teachers, experienced professionals, ECTs, QTS

- Someone with excellent knowledge of the science UK national curriculum

- Individuals confident in teaching all 3 science specialisms (biology, chemistry & physics)

- Strong behaviour management and positive classroom presence

 

Roles/Responsibilites:

- Planning and marking responsiblity (where required)

- Regular assessing pupils progress through marking and various forms of written and verbal feedback

- Collaborate with colleagues within the department

- Maintain a commitment to safeguarding, always promoting pupil and staff welfare

- Communicate effectively with pupils, parents and staff

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
