Job Opportunity: Science Teacher – Scunthorpe, North Lincolnshire

We are looking for a dynamic and passionate Science Teacher to join a secondary school in Scunthorpe, North Lincolnshire. If you have QTS and are comfortable teaching large classes, this is the perfect opportunity to showcase your skills and make an impact on students' education!

Key Details:

  • Position: Science Teacher

  • Location: Scunthorpe, North Lincolnshire

  • Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30 – 15:30

  • Pay: Starting at £180 per day with potential to rise based on performance

  • Qualifications: Must have QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)

  • Responsibilities: Planning and marking of lessons required

As a Science Teacher, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality science education to students across multiple year groups. You’ll plan and deliver engaging lessons in physics, chemistry, and biology, all while managing large class sizes and creating a supportive and stimulating learning environment.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Holds QTS and has experience teaching science at the secondary school level.

  • Is confident in managing large classes and maintaining a positive, productive classroom atmosphere.

  • Can develop comprehensive lesson plans and assessments, and mark student work efficiently.

  • Is passionate about inspiring students to engage with science and develop a strong understanding of the subject.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
