Job Duties:

• Plan, prepare and deliver engaging science lessons to students
• Assess and evaluate students' progress through assignments, exams, and projects
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall educational experience
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and stakeholders

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Science or related field
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Demonstrated knowledge of the UK National Curriculum for Science

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Science or related field

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in a similar role

Knowledge and Skills:

• Strong understanding of Science concepts and principles
• Excellent classroom management skills
• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students

Preferred Qualifications:

• Postgraduate qualification in Education
• Experience in using technology in the classroom

Working Conditions:

The Science Teacher will work in a school environment, following the academic calendar with standard school hours. Occasional evening or weekend work may be required for school events or meetings.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
