QUALIFIED SCIENCE TEACHERS AND EXPERIENCED SCIENCE SPECIALISTS WE HAVE AN EXCITING POSITION FOR YOU...
We are in partnership with a mainstream secondary school in Nuneaton, Warwickshire to appoint a dedicated science teacher on a full time basis. We are able to pay-to-scale on all of our full time, fully qualified teacher positions. The position is for an ASAP start.
Location: Nuneaton (CV10), Warwickshire
Pay Rate: To Scale
Hours: Full Time
Person Specification:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) (desired but not essential)
- Experience teaching Science in a UK secondary school
- Experience planning and marking
- Confident delivering lessons in Biology, Chemistry and Physics
- Previous experience supporting children with special educational needs
- Excellent subject and curriculum knowledge
Job Roles/Responsibilities:
- Plan and confidently deliver a range of engaging science lessons that appeal to various learning styles
- Cater lessons to suit individuals with special educational needs within the class
- Regularly assess pupil progress, learning and development and provide timely and informative feedback
- Collaborate with your colleagues to ensure a smooth delivery of lessons and a high performing department
- Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment where all pupils can thrive
- Contribute to the wider school community where possible

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
