Position: Secondary Science Teacher (Short-term and Long-term Contracts)
Location: Secondary Schools across Northampton
Salary: Competitive (based on experience and contract length)
Contract: Flexible – short-term and long-term positions available
Start Date: ASAP/Ongoing

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging Science lessons across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics to KS3 and KS4 students.
  • Foster curiosity and a passion for scientific discovery through creative and interactive teaching methods.
  • Adapt lessons to suit a variety of learning needs and abilities.
  • Manage classroom behaviour and cultivate a safe, positive learning environment.
  • Mark and assess students' work, providing feedback to support their academic progress.
  • Work collaboratively with school staff and maintain clear communication with parents.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Specialism in Science, with experience teaching at secondary level (KS3/KS4).
  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for inspiring students in Science.
  • Excellent classroom management skills.
  • Flexibility, adaptability, and a commitment to student success.
