Contract: Fulltime, Permanent Position

Start Date: April 2025 or sooner
A highly reputable secondary school in Newbury is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Science Teacher to join its permanent staff team. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a forward-thinking and supportive department, committed to delivering outstanding education to students.
The Role:
The successful candidate will:
- Teach Science across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the potential to teach Key Stage 5 depending on experience.
- Deliver engaging and challenging lessons that inspire a love for Science.
- Contribute to curriculum development and department initiatives.
- Support students of all abilities to achieve their full potential.
- Be involved in the wider school community and extracurricular activities.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- A degree in a Science-related subject.
- Experience teaching Science at secondary level.
- A passion for education and a commitment to high standards of teaching and learning.
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage students effectively.
- The ability to work well as part of a team and contribute to departmental success.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
