Science Teacher

We have an exciting contract starting as soon as possible for a Qualified Science Teacher to join support a Secondary Academy in the heart of Milton Keynes.

The successful candidate will be a Qualified Teacher of Science to GCSE level and be an outstanding classroom practitioner, keen to bring your exceptional knowledge of Sciences to their classrooms across Year 7 to Year 11 double and triple Science courses.

  • Contract: Full-time, long-term contract until April 2025 (permanent contract on offer for the right Teacher), 8:15am - 3:15pm
  • Start date: ASAP
  • Location: Milton Keynes

Contract Details:
This would be a contract position offered full-time through Teaching Personnel - this position is also ideal for a Science Teacher looking for their next long-term or permanent challenge. There will be a 3 month probationary period as standard with all Teachers who take on a permanent position at the school. The hours are full-time, arriving for 8:15am and finishing at 3:15pm. You will be involved with planning, marking and delivering lessons across KS3 and KS4 as well as be involved with all CPD and parents evenings.

Pay
You would be paid to the National Teacher Pay Scale salary between MPS - UPS on a daily rate equivalent on a weekly basis during the probation period then salary offer directly with the school after this is complete.
