Position: Full-Time Science Teacher
Location: Luton, UK
Salary: In line with MPS/UPS
Contract Type: Permanent, Full-Time
Start Date: ASAP
We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Science Teacher to join a vibrant and thriving school in Luton. This is an exciting opportunity to inspire and educate students across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, with the potential for teaching Key Stage 5, depending on experience.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver engaging and dynamic lessons across all science disciplines (Biology, Chemistry, and Physics) to students in Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
• Plan and prepare high-quality, differentiated lessons to meet the needs of all students.
• Assess and monitor students’ progress, providing feedback to help them achieve their best.
• Collaborate with colleagues within the science department to develop and share resources, ideas, and best practices.
• Manage classroom behaviour and create a positive, supportive learning environment.
• Contribute to the wider school community and participate in extracurricular activities, including school trips and clubs.
Requirements:
• Fully Qualified Teacher (QTS) with a degree in a relevant science subject.
• A proven track record of delivering high-quality science lessons at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
• Passionate about science education and inspiring students to develop a love for learning.
• Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage students with diverse learning styles.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, staff, and parents.
• A commitment to your own professional development and a willingness to work as part of a collaborative team.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
