Teaching Personnels PWR Team
Teaching Personnel's PWR Team is delighted to be working with an outstanding school in South London who are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Science Teacher to join their vibrant team.
The Role:
- Deliver engaging and effective Science lessons to students across Key Stage 3 and/or Key Stage 4 and 5.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of the Science curriculum, ensuring it aligns with national standards and fosters a love of learning for the subject.
- Maintain high standards of teaching and learning, encouraging students to develop scientific enquiry skills, practical investigation techniques, and a deep understanding of scientific concepts.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students can reach their full potential.
- Participate actively in departmental meetings, professional development opportunities, and school events.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a strong academic background in Science (specialism in Biology, Chemistry or Physics desirable).
- Proven experience of successful teaching and learning in a secondary school setting.
- In-depth knowledge of the National Curriculum for Science.
- Excellent classroom management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- A commitment to professional development and a passion for innovative teaching methods.
- An ability to inspire students to question, investigate, and engage with the scientific world.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
