Part-Time Temporary Science Teacher – Leyland
Are you a passionate Science Teacher looking for a new opportunity? We are currently seeking an enthusiastic Science Teacher to join our team in Leyland for a part-time temporary role starting in September. This position offers the chance to inspire and engage students while working in a supportive and dynamic school environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Teach Science across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.

Develop and deliver engaging and effective lessons in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.

Foster a love for science and encourage students to achieve their best.
-
Assess, track, and report on student progress, providing feedback and support.

Collaborate with other teaching staff to enhance the science curriculum and school initiatives.
The Ideal Candidate:
-
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
-
A genuine passion for Science and education, with a drive to inspire students.
-
Experience in teaching Science at secondary level, ideally across all three sciences (Physics, Chemistry, Biology).
-
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Adaptability and a proactive approach to teaching.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
