Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Science Teacher to join one of our secondary schools in Leeds. This is an excellent opportunity for an educator committed to fostering a love for science through engaging and dynamic teaching.

Role Overview

As a Science Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in shaping students' understanding of the subject by delivering high-quality, interactive lessons that challenge and motivate learners. Whether you are an Early Career Teacher (ECT) or a Fully Qualified Teacher (FQT) with experience teaching in the UK, we welcome your application. A valid DBS certificate registered on the Update Service is required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging science lessons in line with the National Curriculum, catering to students of varying abilities.

  • Use diverse teaching strategies and practical experiments to bring scientific concepts to life.

  • Create an inclusive learning environment that encourages curiosity and critical thinking.

  • Assess students' progress through formative and summative assessments, providing constructive feedback.

  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop schemes of work and share best practices.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
