Science Teacher – Ipswich, Suffolk

Our client, a reputable academy based in Ipswich, Suffolk, is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Science Teacher to join their thriving Science department. This is an exciting opportunity to deliver high-quality Science lessons and make a real impact on student progress and achievement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and challenging lessons in line with the Science curriculum

  • Teach across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable but not essential)

  • Assess, monitor, and support the progress of all students

  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages a love for Science

  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop schemes of work and share best practice

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience teaching Science in a UK secondary school

  • Strong subject knowledge in Biology, Chemistry, or Physics (specialism flexible)

  • A commitment to raising student achievement and closing attainment gaps

  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills

  • A positive, proactive attitude and a genuine passion for teaching
