Science Teacher – Ipswich, Suffolk

Our client, a reputable academy based in Ipswich, Suffolk, is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Science Teacher to join their thriving Science department. This is an exciting opportunity to deliver high-quality Science lessons and make a real impact on student progress and achievement.
Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging and challenging lessons in line with the Science curriculum

Teach across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable but not essential)

Assess, monitor, and support the progress of all students
-
Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages a love for Science
-
Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop schemes of work and share best practice
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
-
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience teaching Science in a UK secondary school
-
Strong subject knowledge in Biology, Chemistry, or Physics (specialism flexible)
-
A commitment to raising student achievement and closing attainment gaps
-
Excellent communication and classroom management skills
-
A positive, proactive attitude and a genuine passion for teaching

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
