Science Teacher – Hyde (January Start)

Position: Science Teacher
Location: Hyde
Start Date: January 2024
Contract Type: Full-Time, Fixed-Term
Pay Rate: £20 - £40 per hour (depending on experience and qualifications)

Are you a qualified Science Teacher looking for your next exciting challenge? A vibrant school in the Hyde area is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Science Teacher to join their team from January 2024. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with students at both KS3 and KS4 levels, inspiring them to achieve their best in the fascinating field of science.

About the Role:

  • You will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics, tailoring content to suit different learning abilities
  • Engaging students through practical experiments, discussions, and innovative lesson plans
  • Preparing students for GCSE exams, providing them with the knowledge and skills required to succeed
  • Tracking and assessing student progress, ensuring that all learners are supported and challenged appropriately
  • Collaborating with colleagues in the Science department to share best practices and resources

What We’re Looking For:

  • A Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Science
  • Strong subject knowledge across all three sciences (KS3 and KS4)
  • The ability to create a stimulating and supportive learning environment
  • Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to inspire and motivate students
  • Experience preparing students for GCSE exams is highly desirable

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
