Science Teacher
Job description
We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Science Teacher to join our outstanding team in Halifax. If you’re eager to inspire the next generation of scientific thinkers and have a flair for engaging young minds, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach Science across Key Stages 3 and 4 (with potential for 5)
- Create dynamic, interactive lessons that inspire curiosity and scientific exploration
- Develop and deliver a well-rounded curriculum in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics
- Support and guide students in their academic development and personal growth
- Contribute to extracurricular activities, including science clubs and events
- Collaborate with colleagues to further the department's goals and continuous improvement
The Ideal Candidate:
- A qualified teacher with a genuine passion for Science
- A degree in Science or a related field
- Ability to teach across all three science disciplines (Biology, Chemistry, Physics)
- Experience with diverse student groups, promoting engagement and achievement
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Enthusiastic, with a desire to be part of a dynamic and forward-thinking team

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
