We are currently looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic Science Teacher to join our talented team and inspire the next generation of scientists.

The Role:
As a Science Teacher at our school, you will be responsible for teaching engaging and challenging science lessons to students across key stages. You will be expected to deliver high-quality lessons in a collaborative environment, helping students develop a strong foundation in science, critical thinking, and practical skills. We are looking for someone who can inspire curiosity, creativity, and a passion for science.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver outstanding and innovative science lessons to students of all abilities.

  • Plan, prepare, and assess engaging science lessons aligned with the curriculum.

  • Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment where all students can thrive.

  • Manage and motivate students to encourage their academic and personal development.

  • Collaborate with colleagues to continuously improve the quality of science education.

  • Participate in extracurricular activities, including science clubs and events.

  • Keep up to date with developments in science education and incorporate new ideas into your teaching.

  • Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and colleagues about student progress.

About You:
We are looking for someone who is passionate about science and education, with a commitment to ensuring every student achieves their full potential. You should be:

  • A qualified teacher (QTS or equivalent) with a degree in a science-related field.

  • Experienced in teaching science at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 (KS5 experience is a plus).

  • A dedicated and enthusiastic individual with excellent subject knowledge.

  • Skilled in planning and delivering engaging lessons that cater to diverse learning styles.

  • Able to build strong relationships with students, parents, and staff.

  • Committed to continuous professional development and contributing to the wider school community.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
