Position Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Science Teacher to join one of our partner secondary schools in Chatham, Kent. This role will begin after Easter and run until the end of the academic year in July 2025. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to deliver engaging and high-quality Science lessons to students across Key Stage 3 and 4.
Key Responsibilities
- Delivering planned Science lessons to students in Key Stage 3 and 4.
- Ensuring a positive and productive learning environment in the classroom.
- Monitoring and assessing student progress and providing feedback.
- Maintaining good behaviour and classroom management.
- Supporting the implementation of the school's curriculum and policies.
- Collaborating with other teachers and staff to ensure a cohesive learning experience.
The Ideal Candidate
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching Science at secondary school level (Key Stage 3 and 4).
- Excellent classroom management skills and a proactive approach to teaching.
- A passion for inspiring and motivating students to achieve their full potential.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to adapt to different teaching environments and work as part of a team.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
