Job Title: Science Teacher

Salary Range: £140 - £200 per day (dependent on qualifications and experience)

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver dynamic Science lessons across Key Stages 3 to 5, tailored to students of varying abilities.
  • Develop innovative teaching methods that foster student engagement and academic achievement.
  • Cultivate a supportive and inclusive learning environment that empowers students to reach their full potential.
  • Assess, monitor, and provide constructive feedback to help students progress and excel.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to design and implement a curriculum that aligns with national standards and school objectives.
  • Build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to create a thriving learning community.

Requirements

  • Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with a degree in Science or a related field.
  • Experience: Proven track record of teaching Science at secondary level, ideally in a mainstream school.
  • Certifications: Enhanced DBS check on the Update Service.
  • Knowledge: Familiarity with the UK national curriculum and assessment frameworks.
  • Skills: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire students.
  • Commitment: A dedication to professional growth and staying current with best practices in education.
