Are you a passionate and enthusiastic Science Teacher looking for an exciting new opportunity? Teaching Personnel Dorset is currently recruiting for a Science Teacher to join one of our partner schools in Bournemouth from September.
About the Role: This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced or newly qualified Science Teacher to inspire and engage students in a supportive and well-established school environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering dynamic and interactive lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, ensuring students develop a strong understanding of scientific concepts and a love for the subject.
Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver innovative and engaging Science lessons that support student learning and progression.

Assess, monitor, and track student achievement, providing constructive feedback to support their development.

Adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students, ensuring all learners are challenged and supported.

Set high expectations for behaviour and academic achievement, fostering a culture of respect, curiosity, and ambition.

Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance curriculum delivery and share best practices.

Prepare students effectively for GCSE examinations, helping them build the necessary knowledge and confidence to succeed.

Contribute to the wider school community, including participation in extracurricular activities, clubs, and intervention sessions where required.
What We’re Looking For:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience teaching Science at KS3 and KS4.

Strong subject knowledge and a passion for making Science accessible and engaging for all students.

Excellent classroom management skills, with the ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.

A commitment to continuous professional development and a reflective approach to teaching and learning.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.

A proactive and adaptable approach to ensure high-quality education in a dynamic school setting.
