We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Science Teacher to work in a secondary school in Barnstaple. The ideal candidate will have a strong subject knowledge and a desire to motivate students, helping them excel in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and high-quality science lessons to KS3 and KS4 students
- Plan, prepare, and assess pupils' work to ensure progress and attainment
- Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment
- Collaborate with colleagues to foster a culture of academic excellence
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience teaching Science at secondary level
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- A passion for education and student success

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
