ARE YOU A QUALIFIED SCIENCE TEACHER SEEKING A NEW POSITION?

 

Teaching Personnel are working with an Ofsted rated "Good" mainstream secondary school located in B49, to appoint a dynamic science teacher who is able to commit to a new full time role.

The school  pride themselves on integrity and excellence.

 

Important Details:

Hours: Full Time, term time only (Mon-Fri)

Pay Rate: To scale

Location: Alcester, B49

Start Date: After Easter 

 

Our ideal applicant will:

- have a UK QTS or equivalent teaching qualification

- have experience teaching Science in a UK secondary school

- be able to deliver Chemistry, Physics and Biology lessons

- be confident with planning and marking a range of science lessons for different year groups and abilities

- be able to differentiate lessons to suit individual needs within the class and adapt lessons on the spot

- have previous experience working with children with special educational needs

- have an excellent subject knowledge and understanding of the national curriculum guidelines for Science

 

You will be responsible for:

- planning and delivering engaging science lessons to a range of year groups and abilities

- regularly assessing pupil progress and providing them with timely and informative feedback

- collaborating with colleagues within the science department

- safeguarding all pupils and staff at all times, ensuring health, safety and welfare of everyone within the school is a priority

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
