Are you a Science Educator looking for an exciting and rewarding opportunity to work in a supportive and inclusive setting?
We have a fantastic full-time position available in Christchurch, starting 22nd April 2025.
We are seeking for an individual with a passion for working with young people who have special educational needs.
The ideal candidate will be patient, adaptable, and committed to fostering an environment where students can succeed despite their challenges. Experience in teaching students with SEMH needs or in an Alternative Provision setting would be highly beneficial, though not essential. We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic about delivering high-quality education in a nurturing and supportive way.
As a Science Educator, you will be working with students aged 3 to 19 who have Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, as well as those in Alternative Provision. You will be responsible for delivering an engaging and differentiated science curriculum that caters to the unique learning needs of these students. Your role will focus on providing a structured and safe learning environment where every student can develop their understanding of scientific concepts at their own pace.
You will be part of a dedicated team that works closely to provide a holistic approach to education, ensuring that students receive the support they need both academically and emotionally. Your teaching will be tailored to suit each student's learning style, helping them overcome barriers to learning while fostering curiosity and a love for science. The role also involves creating a positive classroom atmosphere, managing behaviour, and supporting students in building confidence and resilience.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
