School Support Manager
Location: Accrington
Salary: £31,067 - £35,235 (Grade 7, Point 19-25)
Contract: Full-time, Full-year
We are currently supporting a secondary school in Accrington in their search for a dedicated and experienced School Support Manager to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in the school's operational management and contribute to the smooth running of various support functions.
Key Responsibilities:

Overseeing and managing administration processes, first aid provision, payroll changes, catering contracts, and health & safety compliance.

Coordinating logistical aspects of internal school systems and acting as the Educational Visits Coordinator.

Organising lunch duty rotas and ensuring efficient coverage.

Managing the school budget in accordance with financial regulations and overseeing purchase requisitions.
-
Leading the administration team and ensuring day-to-day operations are carried out effectively.

Coordinating key school events such as open evenings and parents' evenings.

Ensuring GDPR compliance and maintaining confidentiality in all aspects of the role.

Overseeing staff performance management within the support function and ensuring adherence to expected standards.
The ideal candidate will:
-
Hold a relevant qualification or have significant experience in school operations management.

Be a qualified first aider or willing to undertake training.
-
Have strong financial management skills and experience working within a school budget framework.
-
Demonstrate excellent organisational and leadership abilities.
-
Have a thorough understanding of health and safety regulations within an educational environment.
-
Be committed to continuous professional development.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
