Room Leader Vacancy – Birkenhead (CH44)
Are you a dedicated and experienced childcare professional seeking your next opportunity? We are looking for a Room Leader to join a well-established nursery in Birkenhead (CH44).
Role Details:
- Position: Room Leader
- Location: Birkenhead
- Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience
- Contract: Full-time, permanent
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of nursery practitioners within your designated room.
- Deliver the highest standard of care and education for children aged 0-5 years.
- Plan and implement engaging activities that promote children's learning and development.
- Work collaboratively with parents, carers, and the nursery management team.
- Maintain a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment.
- Monitor and assess children’s progress in accordance with the EYFS framework.
Requirements:
- Level 3 qualification (or higher) in Early Years Education (or equivalent).
- Previous experience in a nursery setting.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- A thorough understanding of safeguarding and child protection policies.
- Paediatric First Aid certification (preferred but not essential).
- A positive, enthusiastic, and caring approach.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
