 Job Opportunity: Religious Education Teacher (Full-Time, Temporary)
Location: Preston
Contract: Full-Time | Temporary

Start date: September 

Are you passionate about inspiring young minds and fostering an understanding of faith, values, and ethics? We’re seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Religious Education Teacher to join a welcoming secondary school in Preston on a temporary full-time basis.

About the Role:
As a Religious Education Teacher, you will:

  • Deliver engaging and thought-provoking RE lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4

  • Foster an inclusive classroom environment where students feel safe to explore and discuss religious and moral issues

  • Encourage critical thinking and respect for different beliefs and worldviews

  • Contribute to the wider life of the school through pastoral support and extracurricular opportunities

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

  • Experience teaching Religious Education in a UK secondary school

  • Strong classroom management skills and a passion for education

  • A creative and flexible approach to teaching and learning
