Exciting Opportunity: Reception Teacher Role – Starting May 2025

We are thrilled to offer a fantastic opportunity at a welcoming one-form entry primary school in Wavertree (L15). This is a full-time class teaching position to cover maternity leave for the remainder of the academic year.
Role Overview
As a Reception Teacher, you will play a vital role in shaping young learners’ early experiences and fostering a positive, engaging classroom environment.
While previous experience with the Read Write Inc. Phonics Scheme and 2Simple assessment software is desirable, it is not essential. The school highly values dedication and enthusiasm and welcomes applications from both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) keen to further develop their skills.
With children holding EHCPs expected to join the new cohort, experience supporting pupils with additional needs would also be highly advantageous.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
