Job Title: Reception Teacher

Location: East of England, Cambridgeshire, Wisbech

Job Type: Temporary, expected to work Full-Time hours

Primary Industry: Education and Training

Salary: £120.00 - £180.00 Per day

Job Duties:

  • Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons for Reception students
  • Assess and monitor student progress
  • Provide a safe and supportive learning environment
  • Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support student development
  • Contribute to the overall ethos, aims, and development of the school

Required Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience working with Reception-aged children
  • Knowledge of the UK National Curriculum
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field

Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years teaching experience

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong understanding of child development
  • Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all students
  • Effective classroom management skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE)
  • Additional training in early years education

Working Conditions:

  • Working hours typically 8:00 am to 4:00 pm
  • Classroom-based teaching with some administrative responsibilities
  • Regular interaction with students, colleagues, and parents

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
