Reception Teacher
Job description
Our primary school is seeking an enthusiastic and nurturing Reception Teacher to join our Early Years team. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate teacher who enjoys working with young children and has a commitment to fostering a love of learning from the very start of a child's education.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, deliver, and assess engaging lessons in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum
- Support children’s personal, social, and emotional development
- Provide opportunities for children to develop early literacy, numeracy, and creative skills
- Work closely with parents and carers to support children’s learning and development
- Foster an environment of creativity, exploration, and independent thinking
Requirements:
- QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) and experience teaching in the Early Years (EYFS)
- A passion for working with young children and supporting their growth
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of the EYFS curriculum and developmental milestones
- Ability to create a stimulating and engaging learning environment

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
