Reception Teacher
Location: Hull, East Riding of Yorkshire
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday

The Role
As a Reception Class Teacher, you will:
- Deliver engaging and creative lessons that promote curiosity, confidence, and a love of learning.
- Create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment where all children feel valued and supported.
- Plan and assess in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework to ensure every child progresses.
- Work closely with colleagues, parents, and carers to foster strong relationships and a supportive learning community.
- Encourage play-based learning and exploration to develop key skills in early literacy, numeracy, and social development.
- Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing individualised support where needed.
- Adhere to all safeguarding policies and procedures, ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all children.
About You
We are looking for a candidate who:
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and has experience teaching in Early Years.
- Is passionate about early childhood education and understands the developmental needs of young children.
- Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with pupils, parents, and colleagues.
- Is creative, enthusiastic, and committed to providing high-quality learning experiences.
- Has a strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum and child-centred learning approaches.
- Is adaptable, reflective, and eager to contribute to a positive school environment.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
