In Partnership with Teaching Personnel
Are you a qualified SENCO with a passion for supporting students with Special Educational Needs? Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated and experienced SENCO to join a welcoming school in Hull.
The Role
- Position: Qualified SENCO
- Location: Hull, East Yorkshire
- Start Date: January 2024 (or sooner if available)
- Contract: Full-time, permanent or long-term temporary
- Pay: Competitive, based on experience and qualifications
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the school’s SEN provision.
- Oversee EHCPs and ensure all statutory requirements are met.
- Support and train staff to deliver high-quality SEN teaching.
- Work collaboratively with external agencies and families.
- Monitor and evaluate SEN student progress.
About You
- Hold the National Award for SEN Coordination (or equivalent qualification).
- Extensive knowledge of SEN legislation and best practices.
- Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
- A valid DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
