Role: Maths Teacher
Area: Bolton
Salary: MPS/Ups, Dependent on experience
Contract: Permanent, fulltime
Start: January 2025 or sooner

The successful candidate will join a dynamic and collaborative Mathematics Department and will play a key role in delivering outstanding learning experiences for students across all key stages. The school has a well-established reputation for supporting professional development and encouraging innovation in teaching.
Key Responsibilities:
- Planning, preparing, and delivering engaging and differentiated Maths lessons in line with the curriculum across KS3, KS4, and KS5.
- Assessing, tracking, and providing feedback on student progress.
- Inspiring and motivating students to achieve their full potential in Mathematics.
- Contributing to the department’s continued success and improvement.
- Engaging with parents and carers, as well as collaborating with colleagues to support student well-being and development.
- Participating in school events, extracurricular activities, and staff training sessions.
Essential Requirements:
- A recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent).
- A degree in Mathematics or a related subject.
- Experience teaching Maths at secondary school level, including KS5.
- Strong knowledge of the current Maths curriculum and teaching methodologies.
- A passion for Maths and an ability to inspire enthusiasm in students.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- A commitment to continuous professional development and the ethos of the school.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Desirable Requirements:
- Previous experience teaching A-Level Maths.
- Experience working within a comprehensive school environment.
- Willingness to contribute to the wider school community and extracurricular activities.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
