We're on the lookout for enthusiastic and skilled psychology graduates to join our team as SEN Teaching Assistants in secondary and SEN schools throughout Newport. The salary for this Teaching Assistant position is £83.85 - £90 a day dependant on experience

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in:

- Providing individualized support to students with a range of Special Educational Needs (SEN), creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
- Collaborating with SEN Coordinators, therapists, and teachers to implement and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Applying your psychological knowledge to understand and meet the unique learning and emotional needs of each student.
- Engaging in ongoing professional development to stay updated with the latest SEN practices and strategies.

What We're Looking For:

- A degree in Psychology.
- Experience or strong interest in working with students with SEMH, autism, or ADHD.
- A solid understanding of how to support children and young people with Special Educational Needs.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
