We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated A-Level Psychology, Sociology, and Criminology Teacher to join our partner Private, Secondary school in the Northampton area. This is a full-time, long-term position, with the potential for a permanent role for the right individual.
The person appointed will be able to encourage students to enjoy and succeed Psychology. They will have the ability to teach KS5 Psychology, including Oxbridge preparation.

They have created a University-style environment where students will learn to work independently while being supported and guided on an individual basis by the excellent Sixth Form team. They have access to a dedicated Sixth Form village which houses individual learning pods, library and a festival food van which offers refreshments from 8.am in the morning.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver high-quality A-Level lessons in Psychology, Sociology, and Criminology.
• Foster a supportive and engaging learning environment.
• Provide guidance and support to students, helping them excel academically.
• Develop and adapt lesson plans to meet the diverse needs of students.
• Monitor and assess students’ progress, offering constructive feedback.
Psychology Teacher Requirements:
• Hold QTS/QTLS or an equivalent qualification
• Have recent Further Education experience as a Psychology Teacher in FE education.
• Have a good level of classroom and behaviour management
• A relevant Psychology or Social Science related degree is desirable
• SEND experience is desirable

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
