Contract: Fulltime, Permanent Position

A highly reputable secondary school in Newbury is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Psychology Teacher to join its permanent staff from April 2025 or sooner. The Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and high-quality Psychology lessons across Key Stages 4 and 5, fostering a passion for the subject and ensuring excellent student outcomes. The role includes curriculum planning, assessment, and contributing to the wider school ethos.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
- Have a degree in Psychology or a closely related subject.
- Demonstrate experience teaching Psychology at GCSE and A-Level (or a strong ability to do so).
- Show a commitment to high standards of teaching and learning, with a focus on student progress.
- Be a motivational and innovative teacher with excellent communication skills.
- Be willing to contribute to departmental and whole-school initiatives.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
