Job Title: Psychology Graduate – Support & Development Role Location: Stourport-on-Severn, UK
About Us: Situated approximately four miles from Kidderminster town centre and in the heart of a beautiful, idyllic countryside setting, Aurora Wilden View School provides personalised academic and therapeutic support for students aged 5-19 with social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs, including those who face communication and behavioural challenges associated with Autism Spectrum Conditions.
We provide the best elements of mainstream education with unique specialist and therapeutic input.

We are now looking for a passionate Psychology Graduate to join our team and make a meaningful impact in the lives of our students by supporting their emotional, social, and mental well-being.
Job Description: This is an exciting opportunity for a Psychology Graduate who is looking to gain hands-on experience in a support and development role within a specialist SEMH provision. The successful candidate will work closely with students, supporting their emotional, social, and mental well-being while assisting with therapeutic interventions and tailored development plans.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide one-to-one and group support to students with SEMH needs, learning difficulties, or behavioural challenges.

Assist in implementing and monitoring individualised support plans under the guidance of senior professionals.

Engage in therapeutic and well-being activities to enhance students' emotional resilience.

Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic support for students.

Maintain accurate records and reports, ensuring confidentiality and data protection compliance.

Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
-
A degree in Psychology or a related field.

A strong interest in mental health, special educational needs (SEN), or social care.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Empathy, patience, and the ability to build positive relationships with students.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
-
Experience in a support or care setting (desirable but not essential).
