Job description

Teaching Personnel is currently seeking experienced teachers for a position in a Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) in Cardiff. These roles involve working with students who exhibit challenging behaviors, requiring educators with prior experience in similar settings. The daily rate for these positions starts at £166.32, with variations based on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging lessons tailored to meet the needs of students with behavioral challenges.
  • Implement strategies to manage and support positive behavior.
  • Collaborate with support staff and external agencies to provide holistic support for students.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, adapting teaching methods as necessary.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Proven experience working in PRUs or with students exhibiting challenging behaviors.
  • Strong classroom management skills.
  • Ability to build rapport with students and support their social and emotional development.
