Tutor Vacancy – Wavertree (L15)

Flexible, approx. 2–3 hours per day

Temporary, with potential for future opportunities

We're currently looking for a dedicated and experienced Offsite Tutor to work with a local school, delivering one-to-one support in English and Maths for pupils aged 7–11. Many of the students face challenges related to behaviour, and may have social, emotional, or mental health needs.

The Role:

  • Tuition Delivery: Provide personalised, one-to-one tuition in English and Maths, using existing lesson plans and adapting materials to suit each pupil’s individual learning style.
  • Pupil Support: Encourage progress by helping pupils build confidence, develop key skills, and stay on track academically.
  • Relationship Building: Foster positive relationships with learners to create an engaging and supportive learning environment.

About You:

  • Experience tutoring English and Maths at primary level.
  • Able to build strong, trusting relationships with pupils and adapt your teaching to meet their unique needs.
  • Confident in planning and modifying resources independently.
  • Strong communication skills and a motivational, student-centred approach.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
