What You’ll Do:

Personalized Tutoring: Design and deliver tailored sessions in subjects such as Math, English, Science, and ESOL.

Adaptable Teaching: Identify and nurture each student’s unique learning style, helping them build confidence and succeed.

Track Progress: Regularly assess and communicate students’ progress to both students and parents, ensuring clear goals and expectations.

Create an Inviting Learning Environment: Help students develop essential study habits, while fostering an environment where they feel safe, motivated, and excited to learn.

Supportive Practices: Utilize therapeutic and trauma-informed approaches to ensure students feel understood and empowered.

What We’re Looking For:

Tutoring Experience: Previous experience in tutoring, teaching, or working with children is preferred, but a passion for education is key!

Flexible Approach: Ability to adjust your teaching methods to meet each child’s individual needs.

Strong Communication Skills: You should be able to explain complex concepts in ways that make learning easier and more enjoyable.

Patient and Compassionate: A genuine interest in helping children grow, learn, and build self-confidence.

Experience with Special Needs: While not essential, experience supporting children with special educational needs will be highly valued.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
