Role: Teaching Assistant
Location: Rufford
Working hours: Monday to Friday 8:45-15:00
Start: January 2024
A Primary School in the centre of Rufford, Lancashire are seeking to appoint a strong, proactive Teaching Assistant to join their well-established team. This position is initially temporary, from January until Easter, with the potential of it becoming a permanent role.
Your new role:
The working hours of this role will be full-time, Monday to Friday (8:45 to 15:00). The role will consist of being a general classroom assistant, supporting groups of children with their learning. On occasion, you may be required to deliver intervention sessions with groups of 6 children.
Your new school:
The school is smaller than most primary schools. The vast majority of pupils are of White British heritage. The proportion of disadvantaged pupils and therefore eligible for support through the pupil premium is well below the national average. (The pupil premium is additional funding for pupils who are known to be eligible for free school meals and children who are looked after by the local authority.)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
