Job Title: Teaching Assistant Level 3

Salary:

£12.90 - £14.00 Per hour

Job Duties:

• Supporting teachers in delivering educational activities
• Assisting with classroom management and student supervision
• Providing one-to-one support to students with learning difficulties
• Preparing and organising learning materials
• Assessing student progress and providing feedback to teachers
• Supporting students with emotional or behavioural issues

Required Qualifications:

• Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
• Good understanding of the national curriculum
• Enhanced DBS check
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Education:

Minimum Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification

Experience:

Prior experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a school setting

Knowledge and Skills:

• Knowledge of educational practises and principles
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Strong organisational skills
• Ability to adapt to the needs of individual students

Preferred Qualifications:

• First Aid certification
• Training in supporting students with special educational needs

Working Conditions:

This role involves working in a school environment, supporting teachers and students during school hours. The candidate may be required to work with students who have diverse learning needs and abilities.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
