Teaching Personnel are actively looking to find a number of Teaching Assistants for day to day work in our Manchester North Primary branch across primary schools in Bolton and Bury. The demand for support staff is growing and at Teaching Personnel we pride ourselves on delivering the highest calibre of supply staff to schools in the area, should they require them.
Being a day to day teacher for teaching personnel gives you the opportunity to ply your trade in a number of different schools throughout the week in an area that suits you. With schools wanting continuity teaching assistants who perform well are requested back and can turn into long term or permanent work.
Within your role as a Teaching Assistant you will be expected to work with pupils in small groups, or on a 1:1 basis during the teaching of core and foundation subjects, i.e. maths and English. You will be required to track the pupils’ progress and demonstrate your knowledge of this progress via feedback to the class teacher, and create a positive and stimulating working environment.
There are a number of flexible and part-time roles available, term-time only until the end of the academic year (July 2025) and relevant qualifications (Level 2/3 education-based qualification) are desired but not essential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
