Teaching Assistants – Primary Schools (Cambridgeshire Area)

Location: Cambridge and surrounding areas

Are you passionate about supporting young learners and helping them thrive in their education? We are currently recruiting Teaching Assistants to work with primary schools in the Cambridgeshire area. Whether you're looking for part-time or full-time work, we have flexible opportunities to suit your schedule.

About the Role: As a Teaching Assistant, you will be working closely with teachers to support students in a range of activities, both in and outside the classroom. Your responsibilities will include assisting with lessons, helping with classroom management, providing one-to-one support for students who need extra help, and fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide general classroom support under the guidance of the class teacher.
  • Assist with planning and delivering educational activities.
  • Support children with additional learning needs.
  • Foster a positive, nurturing environment for students to thrive in.
  • Help with classroom management and ensure the safety of all students.

Ideal Candidates Will:

  • Have experience working with children in a school setting (or be willing to undertake relevant training).
  • Be patient, empathetic, and committed to making a difference in students' lives.
  • Hold a DBS certificate (we can assist with the application if necessary), that is registered on the Update Service
  • Have a good understanding of the primary school curriculum.
