Adhoc Supply Teachers – Newbury & Surrounding Areas

Are you a qualified teacher looking for flexible supply work? Teaching Personnel is recruiting Adhoc Supply Teachers to work with schools across Newbury, Thatcham, and the surrounding areas. Enjoy the freedom to choose when and where you work while earning a competitive daily rate starting from £140.

The Role:

Location: Newbury, Thatcham & surrounding areas
Start Date: Ongoing – work available immediately
Contract: Flexible, ad-hoc supply work
Pay: Starting from £140 per day, paid weekly

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering engaging pre-planned lessons across EYFS, KS1 and KS2
  • Managing classroom behaviour and ensuring a positive learning environment
  • Providing cover at short notice for planned and unplanned absences
  • Adapting to different schools and year groups with confidence

What You Need:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
✔ Experience teaching in primary schools
✔ Strong classroom management and adaptability
✔ An Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
