Primary  Teacher – Year 5 – Haringey

We are looking for a enthusiastic KS2 teacher to join a school in Haringey. This is a great opportunity for educators who have a strong understanding of the national curriculum and experience planning for the year group.

Location – Haringey 

Contract – Full time, 5 days a week (Monday to Friday)

Start date – Summer term

Pay – Teacher Main Pay Scale  

Hours - 8.30am – 3.30pm

About the role:

As a Year 5 teacher, you will be responsible for inspiring a class full of motivated learners. You will be playing in a key role in ensuring every student reaches their full potential.  The school values creativity, collaboration, and a commitment to excellence, and we are looking for a teacher who shares these values.

All candidates will be subject to an enhanced DBS check.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
  • Assess and monitor pupil progress, providing constructive feedback to support their development.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages active participation and a love for learning.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and carers to support pupil achievement and well-being.
  • Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or PGCE certification is essential.
  • Proven experience teaching in Key Stage 2 (KS2) is desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum and assessment frameworks.
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
  • A passion for teaching and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
