Primary Teacher – KS2 – Tower Hamlets
We are looking for an enthusiastic KS2 teacher to join a school in Tower Hamlets. This is a great opportunity for candidates who have a strong understanding of the national curriculum and experience supporting SATS.
Location – Tower Hamlets
Contract - Full time, 5 days a week (Monday to Friday)
Start date – Summer term
Pay – Teacher main pay scale
Hours – 8.30am – 3.30pm
About the role:
As a year 6 teacher, you will be responsible for inspiring a class full of motivated learners working towards their SATS. The school values creativity, collaboration, and a commitment to excellence, and we are looking for a teacher who shares these values.
All candidates will be subject to an enhanced DBS check.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in line with the National Curriculum
- Assess and monitor pupil progress, providing constructive feedback to support their development
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages active participation and a love for learning
- Experienced behaviour management
- Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development opportunities
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or PGCE certification is essential
- Proven experience teaching in Key Stage 2 (KS2) is desirable
- Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum and assessment frameworks
- Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
