We are looking for various KS1 and KS2 teachers in Totton to work across our mainstream primary schools for day to day cover and longer term roles.

About the Role: As a General Primary Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, engaging lessons to children across a range of year groups. You will help foster a love of learning, create a positive classroom environment, and support children in achieving their full potential. You will work collaboratively with a dedicated team of staff to ensure the success and well-being of all students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver lessons in line with the national curriculum, tailored to meet the diverse needs of students.

• Create a stimulating and inclusive learning environment that engages and challenges children.

• Assess and track pupil progress, providing regular feedback to both students and parents.

• Foster positive relationships with students, encouraging their social, emotional, and academic development.

• Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and external agencies to ensure the best outcomes for every child.

• Contribute to the wider school community and participate in school events and activities.

About You:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

• Experience in primary education is desirable but not essential; we welcome applications from both experienced teachers and NQTs.

• A strong understanding of the primary curriculum and a passion for teaching.

• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.

• A positive, patient, and nurturing approach to teaching and learning.

• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and contribute to a positive school culture.
