We are looking for various KS1 and KS2 teachers in Totton to work across our mainstream primary schools for day to day cover and longer term roles.

About the Role: As a General Primary Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, engaging lessons to children across a range of year groups. You will help foster a love of learning, create a positive classroom environment, and support children in achieving their full potential. You will work collaboratively with a dedicated team of staff to ensure the success and well-being of all students.
Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver lessons in line with the national curriculum, tailored to meet the diverse needs of students.

Create a stimulating and inclusive learning environment that engages and challenges children.

Assess and track pupil progress, providing regular feedback to both students and parents.

Foster positive relationships with students, encouraging their social, emotional, and academic development.

Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and external agencies to ensure the best outcomes for every child.

Contribute to the wider school community and participate in school events and activities.
About You:
-
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
-
Experience in primary education is desirable but not essential; we welcome applications from both experienced teachers and NQTs.

A strong understanding of the primary curriculum and a passion for teaching.

Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
-
A positive, patient, and nurturing approach to teaching and learning.

Ability to work effectively as part of a team and contribute to a positive school culture.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
