Key Stage 1 Primary School Teacher – Southampton

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons in line with the national curriculum for Key Stage 1 students.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment where every child feels valued and motivated to learn.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to help each child achieve their potential.
  • Work closely with parents and colleagues to support the development of each child’s learning journey.
  • Support the social and emotional development of students, promoting a nurturing and supportive atmosphere.
  • Encourage creativity, curiosity, and a love of learning in every child.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience teaching Key Stage 1 or a strong understanding of early years education.
  • Passionate about working with young children and creating a stimulating learning environment.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Creative, proactive, and adaptable, with a commitment to continuous professional development.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a dedicated and friendly team.
