Job description

At Teaching Personnel, we are working closely with a school in Salford who are actively seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Year 2 Teacher. This school is creating an effective and inclusive learning community where all staff collaborate to inspire and believe in others and themselves. The successful educator will be working in a full-time role (8:30am-3:30pm) and is required to start in school from September.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, deliver, and assess engaging lessons tailored to the needs of Year 2 students
  • Foster a supportive, inclusive, and nurturing classroom environment
  • Monitor and track student progress, providing feedback and interventions where necessary
  • Support the emotional and social development of students
  • Work closely with parents, colleagues, and leadership to ensure the best outcomes for every child
  • Contribute to the school’s extracurricular activities and ethos

About You:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or currently working towards it
  • Passionate about working with children and helping them succeed
  • Able to create an engaging and positive learning environment
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team
  • Open to ECTs who are eager to develop their teaching practice with full support from experienced colleagues
  • Committed to ongoing professional development

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
