An Ofsted rated GOOD primary school in Crawley is seeking a dedicated and passionate Year 2 Classroom Teacher to join their staffing from January 2024.

Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective lessons in line with the national curriculum for Year 3 students.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support to ensure all pupils reach their academic goals.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters a love of learning and encourages student participation.
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and external agencies to support student development and well-being.
- Contribute to the wider school community through participation in staff meetings, professional development opportunities, and extracurricular activities.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Proven UK experience teaching at the primary level, preferably with Year 3 or lower KS2 students.
- Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and effective teaching strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Commitment to creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
- Passion for education and a desire to inspire and motivate young learners.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and contribute to the school’s ongoing development.
Desirable:
- Experience in using technology to enhance learning and engagement in the classroom.
- Additional qualifications or training in areas such as SEN, EAL, or safeguarding.
- A proactive approach to professional development and a willingness to engage in continuous learning.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
