Primary School Teachers Wanted – September 2025 Starts Across South East London!

Teaching Personnel is seeking dedicated and inspiring Primary Teachers for rewarding full-time positions starting September 2025 across Southwark, Lewisham, Greenwich, and Bexley. Whether you're an ECT looking for your first teaching role or an experienced teacher ready for a new challenge, we have the perfect opportunity for you!

Locations We Cover:

 Southwark – Vibrant inner-city schools with diverse communities
 Lewisham – Mix of outstanding primaries and schools with excellent support for ECTs
 Greenwich – Schools with beautiful facilities and strong STEM focus
 Bexley – Supportive schools with excellent behaviour standards

The Role in Detail:

 Full-Time Teaching Positions (Monday–Friday)

  • Plan and deliver high-quality, creative lessons across the KS1 and KS2 curriculum

  • Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all learners, including SEND and EAL pupils

  • Implement formative and summative assessments to track student progress

  • Contribute to school-wide initiatives such as extracurricular clubs, parent workshops, or literacy/numeracy programs

 Classroom Leadership

  • Establish and maintain positive classroom behaviour strategies

  • Create an inclusive, stimulating learning environment that promotes pupil engagement

  • Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, SENCOs, and senior leadership

 Professional Development

  • Receive structured mentoring and support (particularly beneficial for ECTs)

  • Opportunities to take on subject leadership roles (e.g., Maths, English, Science Lead)

  • Access to school-led training and Teaching Personnel's exclusive CPD courses

 Flexible Opportunities

  • Permanent, long-term, and temp-to-perm roles available

  • Options in Outstanding/Good Ofsted-rated schools, faith schools, and academies

Ideal Candidates Will Have:

✅ QTS status (or in the process of obtaining)
✅ Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum and assessment frameworks
✅ Experience with phonics programs (e.g., Read Write Inc, Letters and Sounds)
✅ A passion for innovative teaching methods (e.g., mastery maths, creative writing approaches)
✅ Commitment to safeguarding and promoting child welfare

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
